
I’m Crystal Stanley, owner of Crystal Kitchen. I’ve been baking since I was 9 years old, and I love sharing my baked goods with others! In 2024, I entered a baking contest sponsored by the Fresh Thyme stores. To my great delight, I won the competition! The above picture is taken the day I had my first TV interview. It shows the cake with which I won the award– a morning glory cake (carrot cake with apples, raisins, coconut, and pecans with a cream cheese frosting).
You can find us at local farmers’ markets and pop-up events, plus we take special orders. We bake everything from scratch because I believe in real ingredients. As much as possible, I utilize local ingredients when in season. I live in the country, and we even have laying hens so that the eggs we use have the best freshness and flavor.
